Lake Simcoe, Ontario Canada

Wind, rain, more wind & some sun is what the elite anglers encountered over the past few days on the Great Lake Simcoe.

Several cold fronts went through the region only to provide a tough bite for the anglers.

But not for all anglers like Scott Murison with a two day total of 49.6 lb’s, landing him 1st place over the two day event. Congratulations Scott!

Chris Johnston (2nd place) coming in with 45.46 lb’s & brother Cory Johnston (3rd place) landing and impressive 45.28 alb’s. Way to go to the Johnston brothers!

Some anglers spent the week pre fishing and many found several fish over the 5lb weight.

Durham regions very own Cooper Gallant boated a 7+LB small mouth during his pre fish but that fish didn’t show back up for the big event.

Be sure to follow CSFL.CA and for the upcoming events, Lake Scugog July 18-19 & then back to Simcoe for the Bronzeback on July 25-26

Thanks to Andy, Vita and the entire CSFL team for another great event!
